This is an installation which was the final thing  we had to make in th end of the class, collabrating all the materials and learning which we incurred in th entire class. this was my first life scale installation so the technicality involved in it helped me learning various things about material handling and exploraing. 

MATERIAL EXPLORATION (Generic skills)

The idea was to come up with a futuristic design concept.. Keeping in mind the growing population , decreasing land i came up with the idea of underground living which is inspired from ant hill structure. 

This project helped me to use multiple materials with creativity.

 

it is a scroll which consist of all the things i learned in the entire workshop. Starting from perspective to 5 second sketches with multiple mediums. i this workshop i practised sketching with different ways and techniques. this helped me to immprove my observational power and technical information.

 

It was our interim time where we need to do paper cutting for the play. this was the first time when i was doing paper cutting. this was one of the scenes for the play. i loved to explore this art.

 

 

 

It was an App Design coarse in which we need to design an app and make it a workable. The idea was to make the life of people easier who are living around us in this area. so i came up with an idea of designing a Paying Guest app which is useful for the students who come different places to study and in need of PG houses. 

The app would contain the name, address, contact, house no., daily food menu, a photo gallery of the houses and rooms, rent etc of the PG. since the constraint was to make an offline app so the data is primary (first hand).

the name of the App is my College name Srishti Institute of Art Design and Technology. The name of the app is 'SRISHTI HOMES'. This coarse changed the defination of designing for me as i didnt know app making can also be included in the field of designing. so this coarse was important for me as it open a new path for exploration.

 

 

Self - portrait with charcoal. In this coarse we need to work on tones than light and shadow. the aim was to improve the observational power which improves how we look at a work. in this coarse i worked for the first with charcoal. 

 

It is promotional project in which we had to promote Study Abroad . we had to make a poster for it but i wanted to try a new and different way for making poster so didnt limit my boundaries and knowledge for poster. i came up with a concept of surving tray with delicacies around the world, inside which the names of various colleges in that country were written. 

 

 

The coarse was about performing arts but i took this work of invitation for the performance too as i wanted to work digitally. it is poster designed on photoshop. 

 

This was a workshop work in which we need to design a furniture piece or accessory. i wanted to make something which acquires less space and function more. so i came up with this design of a foldable chair / table furniture piece which is known as DUAL.. 

 

During the trip i wanted to handle camera and do photography. And this is one of my photograph from the city Varanasi which i liked.

this art piece is the first writing thing i did. its a poem which i tried writing as i got so mesmorized and influenced by the place KASHI (VARANASI)

 

In this coarse we had to come up with a furniture design which is inspired from nature. i took inspiration from a panda and designed a bokshelf out of it. this was first time i explored this material. it helped me a lot to know about this material. i designed this product, keeping in mind the useability of users.
